The southwest monsoon will rapidly accelerate its move towards northern India and reach Himachal Pradesh in 2-3 days, propelled by a system of heavy clouds over the Bay of Bengal that will move towards Gujarat, causing heavy rainfall on the way.  The low-pressure area over the sea is forecast to intensify into a ‘depression’ which will drench Odisha, Telangana, parts of Madhya Pradesh
