The State Government of Maharashtra has come up with many initiatives including loan waiver schemes for development of the agriculture sector and farmer’s welfare. The State Government has till date deposited??4,807 crores in the bank accounts of around 7.65 lakh farmers under the Mahatma Phule Farm Loan Waiver Scheme, said Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray earlier this week.
