A total of 17 successful agriculture-related entrepreneurs from Punjab made presentations under Uddam and Uddan programmes of the Punjab Agri-Business Incubator (PABI) at Bhartiya Krishi Anusandhan Sansthan, New Delhi, on March 4. The 17 entrepreneurs presented their projects before the CIC committee. All projects were related to food science and technology, beekeeping, bakery products, millet production, micro greens and farm machinery. During the meeting, the committee urged the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare for releasing grants worth Rs 8 lakh to Rs 22 lakh for the entrepreneurs.
