The online market or mandi started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government to double farmers’ income has turned successful today. According to the data released by the government, so far around 1.64 crore farmers of the country have registered themselves at this online platform, which is known as National Agricultural Market Scheme (e-NAM). It is important to mention that till 2017 only 17000 farmers were associated with this e-mandi. e-NAM is an online agricultural portal whose main task is to connect all Agri Product Marketing Committee across India into one single network. Its objective is to provide a market for agricultural products at the national level. Seeing the benefits from this, farmers are increasingly engaging with it. Farmers' income will definitely increase by 2022 if they obtain good prices of agricultural products through the National Agriculture Market.
