The Bank of Baroda has launched its Agri digital platform ‘Baroda Kisan’ on 21st September 2019. Now farmers can access the platform on their mobile phones. this web-based portal would cater to all the needs/requirements of the farmers, including crop conditions, weather forecasts, the moisture levels of the soil, market prices, information on crop worms and special crop-related consultation”. In addition, it will also help growers with inputs related to the purchase of various products (for instance - seeds, fertilizers or pesticides), consultancy services, agricultural equipment on rent and innovative financing options for the sale of agricultural products.
