The Modi-led BJP government is set to transfer around Rs 15,000 crore to nearly 75 million farmers from 1st of April under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under PM-Kisan yojana government gives farmers cash benefit of Rs 2000 per year in three equal instalments. To recall, Modi government’s ambitious PM-Kisan yojana was launched last year with the aim to provide financial support to farmers in the country.
