The weather department of India has issued ‘heavy to very heavy rainfall’ warning over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, and South Interior Karnataka during the next 24 hours and over Konkan & Goa on Thursday due to cyclonic circulation above sea level.  “The cyclonic circulation over south Andhra Pradesh & neighborhood extending up to 3.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards during the next 2-3 days. Under its influence, fairly widespread to widespread rain with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe, and South Interior Karnataka in next 24 hours and over Konkan & Goa on 26th September”,
