Turmeric prices go up At the Erode Turmeric Merchants Association Salesyard, finger turmeric was sold at Rs5,648-7,414 a quintal and root variety was sold at Rs5,290-7,000. At the Regulated Marketing Committee, finger turmeric was sold at Rs6,009-7,400 and root variety at Rs5,855-6,680. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric was sold at Rs6,259- 7,439 and root variety at Rs5,699-7,099.
